Cheap flights to Rome Italy on easyJet

easyJet is one of the major European airlines with cheap flights to Rome Italy on a daily basis from four locations in the UK.

The self-proclaimed "web's favourite airline" currently operates five flights per day from London Gatwick, Bristol, Newcastle and Nottingham East Midlands as well as flights from other locations in Europe.

The airline is known well known in the UK from its colourful founder who is usually known simply as Stelios, and by its white and orange aircraft and bright orange staff uniform.

Most planes are Boeing 737s, although easyJet's more recent purchases have all been from Airbus. Stelios claims to have taken the US model of no-frills airlines and stripped it down even further, so don't expect tickets, boarding cards, meals or even allocate seats; this is a free-for-all, with everyone for themselves, but what more would you expect on an airline that offers such cheap flights to Rome Italy.

Most people book their flights online - easyJet was one of the first airlines to move the majority of their bookings onto the web - and are not available through travel agents. The radical cost cutting that this allows means a single flight can start from around £10.

As their planes are all fairly new, cheap flights to Rome Italy need not mean discomfort, although the legroom is a little cramped for many travellers. Overall our experience of easyJet is very good - we've flown dozens of times with just a few negative experiences.
